Mushroom Inoculation Workshop

Are you interested in growing your own food? Mushrooms can be a nutritious and fun addition to your garden – with health benefits for both you and your plants! Join ReRooted Connections for this hands-on workshop to learn about shiitake, wine-cap, and oyster mushroom cultivation and inoculate your own shiitake log to take home for fruiting. This workshop is suitable for beginners, gardeners, mushroom enthusiasts, and anyone interested in sustainable methods for growing healthy food. Participants must be 16 years of age old or older. Children under 16 are welcome to attend this workshop, though must be accompanied by an adult. Note: Power tools (including an angle grinder and drill) will be used as part of this workshop. Tools and safety gear will be provided, though participants are welcome to bring their own drill and 5/16” bit and safety goggles if desired.  Cost $35 per participant.
